Day 1192

The effects of stress are showing. I have been spending most of my free times, either with my doctor for healing my burn wounds or at home sleeping. If its not that then its in some property and legal paperwork which is on the verge of being completed, almost.
Needless to say that its been 2 weeks since i have got engaged and have met my fiancĂ©e just 3 times since then. We had a bit of a confrontation on Saturday because she was extremely eager to spend some weekend time together and i was too tired plus i was in pain due to the burn wounds not completely healed. I had to go out for a while for some property matter and once when i came home, i  just quickly had my lunch and slept in the afternoon. I watched some TV in the evening and then ordered some dinner from out and again went off to sleep. Guess its all the stress being released in some form or the other. Sunday was spent waking up at ease, watching some TV and going for a surprise visit to Mita’s house and it was good. We had nice lunch together. Came home and slept for a while in the afternoon. Aah the afternoon naps are a bliss. Watched some TV in the evening and then Mita called and wanted to go out for a drive as she was sick of being with her books studying whole day. So we went for a drive to Colaba Causeway and did some street shopping. While she didn’t pick up anything but i picked up some nice fake Juventus FC and Barcelona FC Jerseys. After that we went for dinner to Kamat but she was not keen. We came back home and then suddenly at 11:30 PM my soon to be better half has a craving for sizzlers (And this she has been having for quite a few days now). I again went out and picked her up but alas all the restaurants were shut and the one’s in 5 star hotels only served alcohol and appetizers. So we did what most people in South Bombay do, we rushed to Ayubs which is a local street food(And clean) joint which serves some good veg / meat kabab rolls. So although i was stuffed, she enjoyed the late late night dinner. Of course we did have some arguments over certain topics but like all good couples, we didn’t take it  to bed. Was nearly 2:30 AM by the time i slept and it was a huge huge challenge waking up at 7:30 AM in the morning. I was very tired, and visibly so, and didn’t wanna go to work, but i dragged myself as i didn’t want to utilize any unnecessary leaves and wanted to save a lot of them for marriage and honeymoon. So keeping my fingers crossed that all goes cool on that front.
